Anonymous asked: First I just wanted to say that I LOVE THIS BLOG. So relevant to my life. Anyways, I'm a freshman girl, and I like a senior guy. We're doing "All Shook Up" at my school. He got Jim, I got... ensemble. I used to see him all the time at rehearsals, but now I'll only be at the rehearsals where we all learn the music, and a couple other rehearsals in between. I'm really sad because I REALLY like him, so not only is this his last show, he's GRADUATING. Should I tell him how I feel?

Thank you so much! As for your situation, (this is more like love advice than thespian advice haha so bare with me) If you can tell that he likes you back then I’d definitely tell him. Who knows what could happen!? However, if he hasn’t shown you any particular interest aside from just being in the show, then I might hold off. For example, does he flirt with all the girls? In theatre what happens a lot is that most of the chorus tends to crush on the leading man (i know that’s one of our problems somewhere haha). But in all honestly, if you like him enough, and can handle the answer, whatever it may be, then tell him. You’ll be more regretful if you don’t tell him and never know, than if you tell him and get the answer back you don’t want. He’s only a guy and there are plenty of them out there. Plus you’re either in high school or college, so don’t sweat it. Just have fun!
